91 projects selected to participate in the UX Design Awards – spring 2023

The #UXDA23 jury selected 91 projects from over 400 submissions from 46 countries to participate in the global competition for user experience excellence. All nominees will be presented in an online exhibition on the UX Design Awards website. Online voting for the Spring 2023 “Public Choice” Award is possible until February 28, 2023.

59 submissions in the subject categories “Product” and “Concept” as well as 32 projects in the “New Talent” category have been nominated for the UX Design Awards – spring 2023.

The list of nominees includes start-ups, industrial companies, global companies, design agencies, independent designers, students and universities. The nominated projects demonstrate innovative and creative ways designers around the world are improving the user experience. There are solutions to improve products and services in the areas of finance, health, logistics, household, lifestyle and education. In the professional categories, there is a strong trend towards solutions that make commercial and industrial operations more efficient. At the same time, many “New Talent” projects focus on mental health, for example with applications and integrated platforms that facilitate the exchange between users, doctors and practitioners.

Users worldwide are invited to participate in the online exhibition until February 28, 2023 for the audience award “UX Design Award | Public Choice” voting.

The winners of the UX Design Awards – Spring 2023 will be announced and honored on March 1, 2023 in a live-streamed virtual awards ceremony.

“The nominees for this year’s awards demonstrate how design can improve users’ lives,” says Ake Rudolf, strategic director of the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ), the organizer of the competition. “The work of these designers will shape the future of user experience, and we’re excited to see the impact it will have on the industry.”

Advance registration for the second award season in 2023 is already open. All details on how to enter and deadlines for the competition can be found on the UXDA website.
