The company is constantly creating its product range in terms of extension, steering, number of axles, type of suspension, main dimensions such as platform length, width and height, as well as tailor-made solutions to better meet the needs of customers in more than 55 countries. According to its own information, Kässbohrer remains one of the preferred trailer manufacturers in Europe, including the market leader in some countries in Western, Eastern, Central and Northern Europe. According to the manufacturer, the non-retractable 3-axle low-bed semi-trailer K.SLS 3 developed by Kässbohrer is characterized by heavy transport, for example by maximizing the payload for customers thanks to its lighter chassis design. The K.SLS 3 has a curb weight of 7,700 kg, which increases the payload to up to 40,000 kg and enables energy-efficient and environmentally friendly heavy transport.
For more flexibility and safety in use, the K.SLS 3 is equipped with new posts and post pockets as well as new lashing rings with an increased capacity of up to 13.4 t, which are attached to the gooseneck, the platform and the side walls and become a contribution to optimal load distribution. The K.SLS can also be equipped with a hydraulic gooseneck ramp and a steel mesh floor to facilitate loading with various loads such as scissor lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, commercial or industrial cleaning machines.
Save time and money
According to the manufacturer, Kässbohrer’s newly developed four-axle extendable low-bed trailer, the K.SLA 4 model, meets the needs of its customers with various options. With a curb weight of 11,850 kg, the K.SLA series increases payload capacity for transporting heavy goods while eliminating the need for special transport permits, the company explains, saving time and money. The variant can be extended by 6200 mm to transport loads of maximum length. For more flexibility and safety in operation, the Kässbohrer K.SLA 4 is equipped with new container locks and new lashing rings with an increased capacity of up to 10 t. The new lashing rings from Kässbohrer are attached to the gooseneck, platform and side walls and contribute to optimal load distribution, informs the manufacturer. The Kässbohrer K.SLL 2 has been developed using the latest technological processes and components to offer the lowest low-floor trailer that reaches the maximum height in heavy transport with a clearance of 100 mm. The two-axle K.SLL 2 is equipped with a removable gooseneck, which shortens the loading processes for bulky goods and at the same time increases operational reliability thanks to the front loading capability, according to the company.
With its pool length of 6810 mm and a king pin capacity of up to 24 t, the K.SLL 2 enables flexible transport of high and heavy goods without the need for an additional permit. The K.SLL 2, which can be extended by a maximum of 5550 mm, is equipped with hydraulic axles with a technical capacity of 12 t each and a steering angle of 42° to ensure maximum maneuverability in the most difficult road conditions.
With its stable chassis and robust construction, the K.SLL 2 is designed for reliable and punctual transport of heavy and special loads.
Heavy transport is mainly strengthened by investments in the construction and energy sectors. Kässbohrer supports its customers with its complete product range and technical expertise with its robust vehicles to meet this demand and ensure the safe transport of long and heavy loads.
To the customer’s needs
With its R&D competence, Kässbohrer fulfills the general and specific needs of its customers in 55 countries on three continents. Kässbohrer serves the whole of Europe and is the market leader in selected countries in Eastern, Western, Central and Northern Europe. With its competent research and development department, Kässbohrer continuously improves its extensive list of options and always develops trailers that meet customer needs. Within Kässbohrer’s product range for heavy heavy transport, the K.SLA J 4 extendable low loader, the K.SLA RJ 4 extendable low loader and the K.SPH M 4 J hydraulically steerable double-extend low loader platform attract attention. great interest from customers. The new lightweight K.SLA RJ 3 with a net weight of less than 10,000 kg increases payload capacity and enables energy-efficient and environmentally friendly transport of heavy and abnormal goods. For more flexibility and safety in use, the new K.SLA RJ 3 is surrounded by digging arm troughs, posts, support pockets and new lashing rings with an increased capacity of up to 10 t, which are attached to the gooseneck, platform and side walls and to contribute to optimal load distribution.
With the new K.SLA J 3, Kässbohrer has developed a three-axle extendable low loader that sets new standards in heavy transport. By minimizing the platform height with the new chassis design and the smaller tires, the loading height of the K.SLA J 3 is reduced to 770 mm.
The new lightweight K.SLA J 3 with a net weight of less than 9500 kg increases the payload capacity and enables energy-efficient and environmentally friendly transport of heavy and abnormal goods.
For more flexibility and safety in operation, the new K.SLA J 3 is surrounded by metallization, posts, container locks, as well as new lashing rings with an increased capacity of up to 10 t, which are attached to the gooseneck, platform, side walls and to contribute to an optimal load distribution. Kässbohrer offers within its complete construction program an ideally designed platform series for the transport of long or heavy goods, which delivers maximum performance in all conditions. With various options, such as axle lifts, self-steering axles or heavy-duty lashing rings with a technical load capacity of up to 13.4 t, the robust and powerful platform vehicles from Kässbohrer carry their loads with full force.
During IAA 2022, Kässbohrer presented its hydraulically controlled, double extendable low loader platform K.SPH M, which was specially developed for high maneuverability even in tight corners in rural areas.
The double extendable, hydraulically controlled 4-axle K.SPH M 4 low loader from Kässbohrer, with its total length of 30m and the stable and flat chassis with mega coupling height, offers flexible and safe transport of heavy and ballast loads, the manufacturer lifts.
Despite the robust chassis, with its curb weight of 13,950 kg, it offers the maximum payload among hydraulically controlled low loaders thanks to its air suspension system, which enables a technical axle load of no less than 10 t.
