Award: Eckert schools among the best providers of further education – Regensburger Nachrichten

According to a ranking from the magazine “Stern”, the Eckert schools in Regenstauf are among Germany’s best providers of further education in 2022/2023. This is the fourth time they have received this award. They received top marks for learning quality, value for money and graduate satisfaction.

Top marks for learning quality, price-performance ratio and graduate satisfaction: The magazine “Stern” awarded the Eckert schools from the Regensburg area top marks in all evaluation criteria for the fourth time in a row as one of the “best providers of professional development”. Germany’s most far-reaching news magazine and market analysis specialist Globis Consulting surveyed leading education providers in a large-scale survey. According to the authors, a survey of 4,500 employees identified the best providers for 2022/2023.

“Close to innovations and the skills of tomorrow’s professional world”

The result of the survey is clear: the Eckert schools, which have around 50 regional training centers nationwide, are – after 2019, 2020 and 2021 – again this year among the best providers of continuing education in the category “Professional further education”. Alexander Eckert von Waldenfels, CEO, sees the result primarily as a confirmation of the Eckert philosophy “close to the participants, close to the economy, close to innovations and the skills of tomorrow’s professional world”. “We are of course very happy with this excellent feedback from our participants and it is an incentive for us to continue to set the right priorities in the future,” says the CEO.

Convincing results in all detailed criteria

Where do I actually learn? Is a course worth the money? How satisfied are the candidates? The magazine “Stern” interviewed those who had practical experience with courses and seminars. The authors of the study examined the quality of further education offers based on a number of different criteria. For example, the timeliness of the learning content, preparation and presentation of the content and the learning effect flowed into the learning quality dimension. The market researchers also examined the e-learning offering, service and support, value for money, overall satisfaction and willingness to recommend. “With convincing results in all seven detailed criteria, as well as the evaluation areas of learning quality, price/performance and satisfaction, the Eckert schools were able to assert themselves against strong competition,” the official letter of congratulations states.

About 150,000 “climbing success stories” in more than 75 years

Around 150,000 young and experienced professionals have boosted their careers at Germany’s largest private further education campus of its kind. Around 9,000 participants lay the foundations for new career opportunities there every year. What characterizes the Eckert schools are the offers that are individually adapted to the needs of the participants: On the campus just outside Regensburg and also at the regional training centers throughout Germany, the “Eckert-360 degrees” concept forms the basis for success. Depending on their life situation, the participants can choose between different forms of teaching and receive individual support and advice.

Big plans for new digital learning worlds

Digitization and new technologies, digital learning methods and work processes are now firmly integrated into the learning and teaching concepts at the Eckert schools. Online teaching of learning content, linking it to face-to-face courses and collaboration in virtual teams is a living reality at the Eckert schools. The Eckert schools want to extensively expand and further develop their digital offerings in the coming months – and create virtual learning worlds that, according to the CEO, will “revolutionize lifelong learning in Germany”.

The range of courses that the Eckert schools offer today covers almost all professions: from state-authorized technicians and master craftsmen IHK to business administrators, business specialists and business economists IHK to part-time bachelor and master’s programs. In addition, internal technical and vocational schools offer apprenticeships and advancement-oriented courses in medicine, hotel and gastronomy. The Eckert Schools portfolio also includes their own professional development agency, which has been providing people with the chance for a successful return to work through retraining for more than 65 years.

A multitude of prices

The success of the individual advice, support and innovative future orientation is measurable – with success rates of up to 100 percent among the participants. Numerous independent studies prove the excellent quality of learning: the quality mark from the magazine “Stern” complements a number of awards in independent analyzes and rankings, in which the Eckert schools were recently able to convince: the magazine “Focus” ennobled Eckert schools as “top providers for Further Education 2022” and as “trendsetter in the German economy”. The Eckert schools were recently named “Digital Champion 2022” and as one of “Germany’s most innovative companies 2022”.
