Nintendo Switch gets a new design – this is the new look

Nintendo has announced a new Switch with an OLED screen. The special edition is especially interesting for fans of the game “Splatoon”, but will definitely be well received by other players due to the colorful design. But note: The edition is a Nintendo Switch Pro Does not.

Nintendo Switch in a “Splatoon” variant

The new Switch will actually only differ from the existing OLED model on the outside. It is a special edition, as it already was for games like “Animal Crossing” and “Diablo 3”. Just in time for the Switch launch of “Splatoon 3” on September 9, 2022*, we can now look forward to the new variant. This will be significantly more colorful than the standard models, which is especially noticeable with the Joy-Cons, which are each presented with different color gradients. When can we buy the “Splatoon” switch?

The “Splatoon” variant of the Switch OLED is supposed to from 26 August 2022 put up for sale – about two weeks before the release of “Splatoon 3″*. However, the game probably won’t be included, so unfortunately fans will have to buy it separately.
