TAG Heuer Connected Caliber E4
As the website Cointelegraph reports, the Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer, together with the NFT community around the popular collections Bored Ape Yacht Club and CLONE-X, has developed an update that allows the smartwatch “TAG Heuer Connected Caliber E4” to display NFTs on its screen. All you have to do is connect the watch to a smartphone to be able to interact with crypto wallets like MetaMask and Ledger Live. According to the subsidiary LVMH, the new Lens dial will work on both the 45 mm and 42 mm models of the smartwatch. Frédéric Arnault, CEO of TAG Heuer, shows how it can all look on Twitter.

New watch can display NFTs in different designs
According to TAG Heuer, the watch can display time in three different ways in combination with an NFT. “This includes a conceptual design with a triangle and a circle that depicts hours and minutes,” the watchmaker writes in its magazine. The screen would show the NFTs and time clearly even in bright sunlight due to its high contrast ratio. The high-fidelity color rendering also ensures that the NFTs are displayed exactly as the creators intended. The graphic proof of ownership was incorporated into the dial. “Verified NFTs appear in a hexagon with a cloud of particles moving around the image,” the company explains. The size and format do not matter. The NFTs can be easily reduced or enlarged on the display to fit the dial perfectly. It is also possible to transfer both still images and animated GIFs to the watch.
How the NFT clock works
TAG Heuer explains how the NFTs can be brought to the smartwatch in five simple steps on its website. Therefore, you first need the TAG Heuer Connected App. If this is not already on your smartphone, you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. In the app, select “Lens Watchface” and then click the plus icon to add a new image. Then go to “Select from NFT Wallet”. Now you have the option to connect a wallet to the app. Once this is done, the folder with the NFT wallet can be opened in the gallery. The last step is to select the desired image, scale it to the dial and confirm. When the process is complete, NFT appears on the display on the “TAG Heuer Connected Caliber E4”.
