NFT Movie: Zero Contact
Hollywood actor Anthony Hopkins showed his interest in the NFT market back in 2021 when it was announced that his movie “Zero Contact” would be released as an NFT. Since September 24, viewers have been able to watch the film through several NFT drops on Vue. As the platform Vuele explains, Hopkins and filmmaker Rick Dugdale worked together on the movie “Blackway” back in 2015. After watching NFTs grow in popularity, Hopkins and Dugdale decided to break new ground with Zero Contact. “The successful launch of ZERO CONTACT is a massive support for what VUELE ™ sees as the next frontier of the film industry and how the studios will bring feature films and collectibles related to the films they produce,” the platform said.

Anthony Hopkins is looking for NFTs
The Hollywood star, known for films such as “The Silence of the Lambs”, “Hannibal” and “Thor”, is now looking for NFTs. Via a Twitter post, the double Oscar winner asked for suggestions from other American celebrities. “I’m surprised by the number of amazing NFT artists I’m interested in buying my first work, any recommendations? @SnoopDogg @JimmyFallon @ReeseW,” he tweeted. With this, Hopkins seeks help from stars already known as NFT enthusiasts.

The actor first received a late-night response from host Jimmy Fallon, who, like Hopkins, has an “.eth” in his profile name that alludes to a URL in the Ethereum blockchain domain registry. Love your thoughtful image. There’s a bunch of great artists out there, and it’s generally a fun community. But, as the great Aaron Neville once said, “I do not know much – but I know I love you.” And it is maybe everything you need to know. DM me, “replies the popular Tonight Show comedian.

More and more stars are showing interest in NFTs
As recent developments show, there are more and more people who are interested in crypto, even among the big stars. In addition to Fallon, Hopkins also addresses his tweet to rap legend Snoop Dogg, who owns an NFT portfolio worth more than $ 17 million in September 2021, according to DappRadar. And actress colleague Reese Witherspoon, mentioned in the tweet, also announced via Twitter late last year: “Crypto will stay.”
Crypto is here to stay. I am committed to supporting creators who have been groundbreaking in the NFT field, and encourage more women to be a part of the conversation. https://t.co/tq9EdwAmJC

“I am committed to supporting artists who have been pioneering in the NFT area and encouraging more women to participate in the conversation,” the actress continued.
