Hasenmelkerfest in Dransfeld: Pure fun for children
Dransfeld. Hasenmelkerfest is an institution in the town of Dransfeld – and not just for residents: Fra Göttingen, Hann. Münden and the surrounding towns usually drive many visitors to the festival with Sunday shopping, which is held next Sunday.

The trade association is the organizer. Andrea Gawehn is part of the organizing team. She emphasizes that the event on June 19 is an offer for the whole family. The shops open from 11:00 to 17:00. The most important places for the events are Lange Straße, which must be closed from 06:00 to 22:00, and the area in front of the supermarket at the eastern entrance to the city. Almost every store and cafe in the city is open, Gaweh says. The Gaussturm kiosk is closed on Sunday – the team would like to be present on the promenade with “sweet, salty and drinks”.
Parking at City Hall
Parking spaces are available at the Stadthalle (Am Bleichanger) and in side streets, according to Gawehn. “Anyone who follows the designated diversion will automatically pass the Stadthalle,” she says. Buses on VSN route 120 will run every two hours between Göttingen and Hann from the morning. mouth; the Teichstraße stop will not be serviced due to the closure.

The experience program traditionally includes helicopter sightseeing flights. Tickets are available at the stand on Langen Straße, the take-off and landing area at the eastern entrance to the city are within walking distance. Each flight over the community and up to Weser takes about 30 minutes.

The organizing team has prepared something for children.
