With the installation “A Statement of Form”, the most important elements of the Gaggenau philosophy can be experienced over 360 square meters: the interplay between form and function with the best appliances on site and culinary excellence. The exhibition presents balance and excitement as well as tradition and craftsmanship in constant development. In various sections, it shows the importance of materiality, the relationship between cold and heat, works of art in the context of technical perfection and the future of hospitality in the private sphere.

When it comes to interior design, Gaggenau collaborates with a wide range of specialists to bring the “A Statement of Form” project to life. These include the German architectural firm 1zu33, the Italian stonemason company Salvatori, which works with natural stone, and the ceramic tile manufacturer Kaufmann Keramik. Christian Jürgens brings in the culinary craft. The head chef of the three-star restaurant “Überfahrt” in the lake hotel of the same name on Lake Tegernsee has been Gaggenau’s partner for many years and enriches the installation with his haute cuisine.

The award winners of the “Respected by Gaggenau” 2021 initiative are also part of the installation. “Respected by Gaggenau” is an award with which Gaggenau honors expertise and extraordinary work: Designer Xavier Mañosa (Apparatu) and winemaker Elías López Montero (Verum Wines) from Spain as well as Azienda Agricola Bettella from Italy, the “quiet pigs” for Salumi Bettella racer.

Gaggenau CEO Dr. Peter Goetz: “We want to share the experience of ‘A Statement of Form’ with as many people as possible around the world and both those who are interested in our virtual live lectures and the visitors to Fuorisalone, Salone del Mobile and EuroCucina welcomes you to Villa Necchi. ”
