There is always thick air between Daniela Katzenberger and her family. Now she is commenting on public quarrels with her sister and mother.
The relationship between Daniela Katzenberger (35) and her half-sister Jenny Frankhauser (29) was long difficult. But after speaking out in late 2020, it seemed a certain calm had returned to the family. But since the sisters recently stopped following each other on Instagram, the rumor mill has been bubbling over yet another rift. Mama Iris Klein (54) also mingled with an appeal to her daughters on Instagram. In her podcast “Cat and Cordalis” with husband Lucas Cordalis (54), “the cat” now comments on what she thinks about such public family disputes.

Daniela Katzenberger: Annoyed by public problems with Jenny Frankhauser and Iris Klein
TV star Daniela Katzenberger usually has no problem giving insight into her privacy. The former “Goodbye Germany” star now has several formats of her own, where she lets the camera accompany her daily life with her husband Lucas Cordalis and daughter Sophia (6). However, she has a different attitude when it comes to strife within her family, as she explains in her podcast with husband Lucas Cordalis. She alludes mainly to friction with half-sister Jenny Frankhauser and Mama Iris Klein. “I do not want such a thing to come out,” the “cat” makes clear. She also accuses the two of only publishing the arguments to really strangle her. “My mom and my sister know that when they do something like that, it really hurts,” the 35-year-old said. For Daniela Katzenberger, dealing with family disputes in this way is a real no-go. “It irritates me,” says the native of the Palatinate. The man Lucas Cordalis also thinks it is a real “breach of trust”.
About her childhood with Jenny Frankhauser: “She did not know the feeling of lack”
The tensions between Daniela Katzenberger and half-sister Jenny Frankhauser could have developed in their childhood as they continue to sound in the podcast. Daniela Katzenberger used to feel that Mama Iris Klein, as a single mother, had little money for the family. Her biological father left the family when Daniela was three years old. To this day, she has no contact with him. Her mother therefore had to manage all the cost of living on her own. Daniela Katzenberger, for example, says that when she was young, she had a “permanent feeling of lack”. Her half-sister Jenny Frankhauser, on the other hand, grew up much more carefree than she did because her father Andreas Frankhauser’s family († 49) had far more financial resources at their disposal. “She did not know the feeling,” says Daniela Katzenberger.
Daniela Katzenberger: “Before you knew my family, you knew my name”
Even today, there seems to be jealousy in the family, as Daniela Katzenberger suggests in the podcast. It is actually thanks to her that mother Iris Klein and sister Jenny Frankhauser are also in the public eye today and are able to fund their lives as a result. She was, after all, the first to be seen on television and made the ball roll. “Before you knew my family, you knew my name,” says Daniela Katzenberger. “And, of course, the family also benefited,” she continues to consider. Lucas Cordalis comments: “I think it’s nice when you treat yourself to everything in the family. That’s the way it should be.”
Daniela Katzenberger: The relationship with Jenny Frankhauser is currently unclear
However, Daniela Katzenberger also makes it clear in the podcast that after a quarrel in the family, one is usually reconciled quite quickly. But the motto here is that the conflict should not be discussed again, but resolved without comment. “It’s being swept under the ‘family rug,'” the cult blonde explains. However, it is still unclear whether she has already eliminated the conflict with half-sister Jenny Frankhauser in this way or will do so in the future.
