Innovations for the health and fitness application

Huawei has appropriately donated many fresh features to its health app in addition to new wearables. Extensions of the fee-based premium service Health + are also being made. Here they would like to tempt you to a subscription that costs 7.99 euros per month or 59.99 euros per year.

If you buy one of the following wearables, you get three months of Health + free to try:

  • Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro
  • Huawei Watch GT 3
  • Huawei Watch GT Runner
  • Huawei watch fit 2
  • Huawei Band 7

To activate the free trial, the Health app must be connected to your device. You should then automatically see a link to the website to activate the trial period. Membership can also be activated later via the member website if it is not claimed immediately. Important for iOS users: The iOS beta will be available in Germany from June 15th. Huawei Health + will then be available to all German iOS users from July 30th.

Huawei Health and the paid Health + can then be used on all wearables in the Watch Fit, Band and Watch GT series. What’s new in the app? Basically, 100 training modes are now supported – with tracking, coaching and analysis for various outdoor and indoor sports from the areas of running, swimming, cycling, triathlon and many more. Health + then promises expanded features related to fitness, nutrition and wellness. These include, for example, over 200 fitness courses and breathing exercises.

A Stay Fit plan in Health combines fitness and nutrition with personal training plans, daily nutrition analyzes and dynamic adjustments. Users can define individual training days, training goals and favorite foods. Based on the individual progress, the app calculates a forecast for achieving goals. If you want to consult a fitness trainer or trainer, you can give them access to the data from the app to export them.

With the new “Workouts” feature, users of the Health app can access exercise and diet advice from real fitness trainers in English, German or Italian. Using the Health app’s food diary, users can enter the dates of their meals in the app and thus calculate calorie counts. As part of the nutritional analysis, consumed nutrients, calories and the ratio of protein, fat and carbohydrates are shown in graphs. Intermittent fasting is now also taken into account through special programs that can be individually adapted to lifestyle and daily routines.

You can also monitor the menstrual cycle in the app. Heart rate, skin temperature and other variables are recorded in the app, which makes it possible to predict the cycle. If you have trouble falling asleep, the Health app helps you with relaxing sounds or various options for white noise. The new 3D tracking feature, in turn, tracks users’ running routes and makes it possible to share progress via social media. With Health +, users can also export portrait or landscape video of their route and record over six hours of activity time.

The Health app is available for free from the AppGallery and is available for Android users via the Play Store or for iOS via the App Store.
